As we approach the end of the season, we've purchased a quantity of harnesses on an enhanced discount as TRS clear their warehouse ready for the 2024 stock. This allows us to discount our stock significantly below the normal trade cost.
These harnesses say "Not Valid after 2028", but these harnesses are of the latest FIA8853-2016 which automatically get a 5 year extension for Motorsport UK National level events and below. This means they will be valid until 2034 - giving you 10 seasons use from them.
These savings make these an ideal option for our club competitor wanting the best quality at a fantastic price.
The entry level range from TRS is the International range. These offer all the TRS quality, but at a lower price. All the harnesses in the International range use a 2" shoulder strap throughout - for use with an FHR.
These harnesses feature the fantastic "Professional Aluminium Adjusters" on both the shoulder and waist straps. This makes adjusting them an absolute breeze. This upgrade is highly recommended for those who are doing multi-venue competition or using the car on the road.
The key features of these harnesses:
- FIA Approved to 8853-2016. (This standard gets the 5 year extension for MSUK national events)
- 50mm (2") webbing on the shoulders and on the waist straps
- Load-Spreader webbing on the waist straps.
- Smooth running "Professional" aluminium adjusters on the waist and shoulder straps.
- Snap Hook Fixings on all straps. These can be removed to wrap around harness bars.
- Securing tab for intercom cables on the shoulder strap
- Thumb loops on the lower shoulder straps
- Hans Specific shoulder straps - Where your discipline requires an FIA approved harness, must be used with an appropriate FHR.
